Software Sales

Position is located: VIRTUAL (home office in Domestic US or Canada)

This position is well suited for a proven technical and/or telecommunication software sales person with the ability and desire to work in a small company environment with the opportunity for excellent reward potential.

This sales position requires the ability and experience to execute the sales process from lead generation to close; growing and maintaining customer relationships with industry-relative, knowledgeable communication and support. Successful candidate must possess the ability to work in a remote environment (from home) while maintaining a strong close relationship within the Companies team environment, including technical support, administration and management. The ability to accurately understand customer network configurations, business model and needs along with the transfer of such information to technical support and/or other team members is required. Some travel required.

The successful candidate will have a BS in engineering or business with 3-5 years experience in telecommunications or software sales. Individuals with documentable experience including a proven track record will be considered. Experience in organizing, developing and presenting sales and marketing material in a technical environment is required. Experience with OSS/BSS and or NMS software sales is highly desired. Apply!


Application Engineer

Position is located: Southeastern, United States

This position is responsible for supporting existing and potential customers through training and demonstration of the capabilities of the FiberBase Software. This position will require extensive customer interaction as well as in-depth knowledge of the software functionality and customer benefits. In addition to technical knowledge, this position will require good interpersonal and presentation skills in performing demonstrations and training sessions.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Support for User and Upgrade issues
Responding to help desk requests.
Create formal response to the customer.
Coordinating on-line meetings with CTI personnel and the customer to troubleshoot and administer fixes.
Entering the support request and fix into test track pro

Sales Support
Customize demo’s to answer customer specific questions and network structure
Follow up on action items from Demo’s
Assist in responding to RFI’s and RFP’s
Creating screenshots and responses to questions sent to us in the RFI formats
Assist in customization discussions to adapt to the customers RFI’s requirements.
Interviewing customers that are requesting customization assistance.

Supporting customer Trials
Working with FB trial version software customers
On-line short training seminars for trial customer
-Following up with the customer during and after trial.

Customer Training, on site and off-site (online)
Facilitate Set-up of training machines while on-site and off-site through phone conferences and on line demo
Install software for training sessions (Oracle, FiberBase, sample db’s)
Arrange for demonstration equipment and set up ( projectors, computers etc)
Creating training documents.

Support company growth
Version testing for FB
Testing FB versions.
Assist with consulting efforts where required
Joining business development meetings
Participating in the viewing of other software products both in online web demos and web pages.
Recommending procedural changes for different departments

Position Requirements:
Strong Network software background, or experience in managing complex networks
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills
Good technical writing capability

Also requires to ability to travel and full time access to a high speed data network
Basic Microsoft windows and office skills, CRM tool ( ie, Salesnet) experience a plus. Apply!
